VANESSA FARMER B.Comm (ADEL) LL.B. (HONS)
Vanessa Farmer is the Managing Partner of Withnalls. Admitted to practice in 1999, she became a Principal of Withnalls in 2001.
She has a strong sense of social justice and specialises in family law with extensive experience in property division and children's issues.
Vanessa regularly appears as a counsel in the Supreme, Family and Local Courts.
She is a skilled, hard working advocate who takes pride in her work and who enjoys the challenge of complex litigation and successful outcomes on behalf of her clients.
Vanessa practices primarily in the area of Family Law and De Facto Litigation, Wills and Estates.
AMY NOBLE LL.B.
Amy Noble joined Withnalls Lawyers in 2015 having previously worked at the Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission.
She was admitted to practice in the Northern Territory and High Court of Australia in 2015.
Amy practices in the following areas of law:
Family Law, encompassing property and parenting proceedings, de facto relationships, divorce, child support, relocation and urgent recovery applications;
Criminal Law, including drink driving, drug offences, property damage, theft and assault matters;
Domestic Violence matters on behalf of applicants, protected people and defendants; and
Civil Litigation, including statements of claim and enforcement proceedings.
Amy appears as an advocate in the Family, Supreme and Local Courts.
Amy also volunteers as a panel member on the Northern Territory Rugby Union Judiciary, and as a player representative at the Northern Territory Football League Tribunal.
MICHELLE DUGGAN L.L.B.
Michelle Duggan joined Withnalls Lawyers in June 2017, having previously worked at another local law firm.
She was admitted to practice in the Northern Territory in December 2014 and the High Court of Australia in January 2015.
Michelle practises in family law (property and parenting proceedings, de facto relationships, divorce, child support, relocation and urgent recovery applications) and some civil litigation work.
Michelle appears as an advocate in the Family, Supreme and Local Courts and the Northern Territory Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Michelle volunteers as a legal advisor at Darwin Community Legal Service and Top End Women’s Legal Service. Her volunteer work also extends to Touch Football Northern Territory where she is a member of the State Operations Advisory Panel and Judiciary Panel.
